Apparently cartoon collections don’t sell unless they involve whimsical ducks and teapots, according to publishers. Meanwhile, some of you have asked if I’ll ever publish another collection of mine. So here it is: completely free of publishers’ publicity machines or whimsical ducks - “Hoary Chestnuts from the Wilcox archive” contains around 100 of my favourite cartoons from the last decade or so, grouped thematically, with some written context.
